BUTWAL, March 26: Police have arrested district in-charge of Biplab-led NCP. According to district police, Nawalparasi, district in-charge of West Nawalparasi Ganga Gyawali ‘Suman’ was arrested on Monday night.

District Police Chief SP Rajendra Bhatta informed that he was taken into custody from Bardaghat of the district.

Suman, a permanent resident of Khairhani, Rupandehi was in-charge of the district from two years and is said to be arrested at the border of Rupandehi and Nawalparasi while he was at home in Bardaghat-4 to meet the family. However, police have claimed that he was arrested from Bardaghat itself.

He is said to be involved in torching the vehicles in the highway during the recent strike called by the group. He is in police custody and has been charged for alleged involvement in blazing the public vehicle.
