‘Big Brother’ now in Nepal

‘Big Boss’- the Nepali version of famous reality show franchise ‘Big Brother’ is all set to hit Nepali screen.

‘Big Boss’- the Nepali version of famous reality show franchise ‘Big Brother’ is all set to hit Nepali screen. The franchise is owned by Netherland based production company Endemol Shine. IMAX Production will bring the franchise to the country. Organizing a formal event at Soaltee Crowne Plaza on Monday, the company officially declared that the franchise will be screened in Nepal soon.  IMAX further claimed that the show will be Nepal’s biggest TV reality show.

The organizers informed that the motif in bringing this franchise to the country is to promote Nepali cinema. The franchise has been distributed across54 counties and Nepal will be the 55th country to air the show. The structure of the show will be similar to ‘Big Brother’ and will be produced in Nepali language.


Organizers of the program further expressed that the show will be hosted by one a well-known Nepali face. Participants of ‘Big Boss’ will live in an isolated residence for 100 days. On top of that, they won’t have access to any means of communication.
