KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Bibeksheel Sajha Party (BSP) on Sunday filed a complaint at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) urging the anti-graft body to begin investigation into the alleged irregularities in procurement of wide-body aircraft by Nepal Airlines Corporation.
The BSP delegation led by party coordinator Ujjwal Thapa registered the complaint at the CIAA headquarters. BSP leaders also met with CIAA Spokesperson Rameswar Dangal to urge him to investigate the alleged irregularities in the procurement of the wide-body aircraft. The party urged the CIAA to investigate and prosecute those politicians, high-ranking government officials and others involved in irregularities in the procurement process.
