Bibeksheel Sajha leader Thapa’s health still ‘critical’

KATHMANDU, May 30: The health condition of former chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Ujjwal Thapa, who has been undergoing treatment for COVID-19 for the past two weeks, has further deteriorated. 

According to Ranju Darshana, a leader of the party, Thapa has been undergoing treatment at Nepal Medicity Hospital for the past three days.  

Posting on Facebook earlier on Sunday, Darshana shared that there has been no sign of improvement since yesterday [Saturday] and his health still remains critical. “Doctors are doing their best through the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technology. Doctors said that they have made the best use of all possible procedures for his treatment,” she wrote. 

Before being shifted to Mediciti Hospital, Thapa received treatment at HAMS and Grande Hospital in Kathmandu.
