DADELDHURA, Sept. 13: The Bhimdatta Highway and KI Singh Highway have been blocked due to landslides occurring in different places in the district, due to continuous rain taking place since Wednesday evening.
The landslides have also blocked several road networks connecting the rural areas in the districts of Sudurpaschim Province.

Vehicles have remained off the road as the Bhimdatta Highway that links the seven hilly districts to the southern plains in Sudurpaschim Province was obstructed. Likewise, vehicular movement is blocked along the KI Singh Highway that connects Dadeldhura and Doti districts.
According to the District Police Office, a landslide at Sahukara has obstructed the Bhimdutta Highway. Likewise, another landslide at Ganyapdhura has completely blocked vehicular movement along the KI Singh Highway.
Similarly, vehicular movement along Jogbudha in Dadeldhura to Budar in Doti is also completely obstructed after a landslide at Sunkhola in Alital Rural Municipality.
The obstruction of the roadways has left dozens of vehicles carrying essential goods in the districts stranded.
Likewise, the power supply has also been disrupted in Dadeldhura following rain coupled with a heavy storm since last night in the district.
