CHITWAN, July 20 (RSS): Leaside Centennial Lions Club based in Toronto city of Canada provided 500 eye glasses to Bharatpur Eye Hospital. 

At a program organised at the hospital today, club's founding Chairperson, Tulasi Dharel, handed over the eye glasses worth around Rs 400,000 to Chitwan President of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, Krishna Raj Dharel, Chairperson of Bharatpur Eye Hospital's Board of Directors, Chij Kumar Maskey and Medical Director Prof Dr Raghunandan Benju. 

Dharel, founding chairperson of Leo Club of Narayangadh, pledged to provide further possible support to the Eye Hospital. 

Similarly, Chairman Maskey said the eye glasses received would be provided to needy eye patients belonging to poor and helpless people.  RSS
