BHAKTAPUR, April 17: Starting from Thursday, Bhaktapur district has started disinfecting all the vehicles entering its border.
The District Disaster Management Committee decided on Wednesday to disinfect all the vehicles at its major entry points, including in Sanga and at Manohara Bridge along the Araniko Highway. Respective local levels are coordinating with Red Cross Society, Bhaktapur on this task, according to DDMC, Bhaktapur.
The locals, however, have demanded that such a system be in place in other entry points as well.
Red Cross volunteers on Friday were found busy spraying disinfectant on all the vehicles at Manohara Bridge in Lokanthali, the entry point to the district from Kathmandu.
