BHAKTAPUR, May 4: Three members of a family in Bhaktapur were found lying unconscious in their room on Tuesday.

Of them, one breathed her last while undergoing treatment, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur. “The incident was recorded at Suryabinayak Municipality-10 of the district.”

The deceased has been identified as 22 year old Sunita Tamang. Likewise, Shantimaya Tamang, 40, mother of Sunita and Anita Tamang, 18, are currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital, as stated by Dipak Giri, information officer at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur.

As per the preliminary investigation, the incident might have taken place due to suffocation.

The dead body has been handed over to the family members after a post-mortem at Kathmandu Medical College.
