MYAGDI, July 2: Beni-Jomson road that connects Mustang to the national highway via northern part of Myagdi has been obstructed since early morning today.

Landslides occurred at Kavrebhir, the bordering of Myagdi and Mustang, obstructing vehicular movement along the 76-kilometers Beni-Jomson road section.

Supervisor of Beni-Jomsom-Korala Road Project, Indra Singh Sherchan, said a big-size rock has fallen on the road, causing obstruction in the movement of vehicles.

He shared, "Preparation is underway to resume the traffic. They have proposed the District Administration Office through the road project to break the rock using explosive materials as the attempt to remove the rock by using a dozer went in vain."

According to the District Administration Office, a team of the Nepal Army personnel with explosive materials has been sent to Kavrebhir for the same.

Vehicles plying towards Mustang from Beni and from Mustang to Myagdi have been stranded following the road obstruction.
