KATHMANDU, Sept 30: House Speaker Onsari Gharti today administered oath of office and secrecy to Mohan Prasad Baral, who was elected as Chairman of Agriculture and Water Resource Committee under the Legislature-Parliament. 

Baral took the oath amidst a ceremony held at the House Speaker's Office at Singha Durbar. Proposed by CPN (Maoist Centre) whip, Sita Nepali and seconded by CPN-UML lawmaker, Kashinath Adhikari, lawmaker Baral was elected unopposed on Thursday. 

The lawmaker represents Sindhuli constituency -2 from the Nepali Congress and had been a member with the Finance Committee earlier. RSS
