Baneshwar, Kirtipur triumph

KATHMANDU, Nov 28: Baneshwar Recreational Center and Kirtipur Futsal on Monday won their respective matches of the Red Bull National Futsal League being held in the capital. 

Visiting Baneshwar overcame Adarsha Futsal 4-0 to climb on second position in group A.

Karun Gyawali scored twice for Baneshwar and Raju Tamang and Karfu Rasaili were also on targets. 

After the results, Baneshwar has 22 points from 10 matches and sits second in the standings. Playing equal number of matches Adarsha has four points and sits at the bottom of the table.  

In another match, home team Kirtipur Futsal overcame BG Brothers 5-4. Yaman Maharjan and Suraj Gurung were on double for the winning side while Pratap Maharjan added another.

Umesh Khadka netted a brace for BG Brothers while Diwas Rai and Prakash Thapa scored one goal each. 

Kirtipur has 10 points from as many matches and sits sixth in group B while BG Brother has four points and is seventh in the standings.
