BIRATNAGAR, March 7: A bandh called Tuesday by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) to protest the killings of their cadres in Saptari on Monday has affected life in various parts of Morang, Siraha and Saptari.
Transportation has come to a halt while the market and educational institutions remained closed.
Main business hubs like Mirchaiya, Golbazaar and Choharwa have also remained shut.
Meanwhile, cadres of the UDMF burnt tyres at various parts of Siraha since today morning to protest the killings.
