KATHMANDU, Dec 6: The Patan High Court is going to hear the dispute involving Nepali Congress leader and former home minister Balkrishna Khand concerning the fake Bhutanese refugees scam on December 14.
There was a difference of opinion between the two judges on whether to release Khand from prison on a bail of Rs 3 million or continue keeping him in prison.

Due to the difference of opinion between the two judges of the bench, the court decided to forward the case to a third bench for a hearing on December 14.
There was a difference of opinion in the joint bench of Justices Janak Pandey and Prakash Kharel. The Patan High Court has ordered that the order of the Kathmandu District Court be partially annulled and partially upheld in cases related to fraud, written piracy, crime against the state and organized crime.
The court ordered on 1st December to send nine people, including CPN-UML Secretary and former Deputy Prime Minister Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, to prison. Out of the 20 people involved in the case, six people were ordered to be released with different bail amounts and four people were to be released on their own recognizance.
