KATHMANDU, May 15: Popular youth candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Balen Shah reached Bhaktapur on Sunday. Shah, who is leading the race for the post of mayor of KMC from the independent cluster, reached the office of Bhaktapur Municipality-2. 

Whenever asked about his choice of political party in the country, Shah has been replying that the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP)  is the party of his choice. He has also maintained that Bhaktapur has become an exemplary municipality because of the victory of NWPP in Bhaktapur. 

Shah said that he will make all possible efforts to make Kathmandu like Bhaktapur. He said that he will make Kathmandu a clean, art- and culture-conscious metropolis like Bhaktapur. 

A huge crowd of people gathered to take pictures with Shah after he reached Bhaktapur.
