Balen ahead of Sirjana Singh by more than 19,000 votes, Sthapit in the third place

KATHMANDU, May 24: Independent candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah (Balen) has continued to maintain his lead.

Shah has received 48,089 votes so far. According to the latest poll results, Sirjana Singh of Nepali Congress got 29,180 votes. Keshav Sthapit is in the third position.
