BAGMATI, Feb 1: The Bagmati Province Government is set to build three fertilizer factories at different places in the province.
The provincial Council of Ministers which met on Monday decided to forward the process of setting up fertilizer plants in collaboration with a Thai company, Bagmati province government spokesperson and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Krishna Sharma Khanal, said. He further said that the provincial government is in consultations with the Thai company in this regard while discussions will also be held with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for ensuring regular power supply to the fertilizer plants to be set up.
According to him, the factories will be of medium-scale rather than big scale and investment.
The provincial Council of Ministers has also decided to determine the parameters of the multi-year contracts to be operated under the provincial government and bring into operation the Provincial Civil Service Records Office.
It likewise decided to make the Master's level education free for all girl students who have studied in community schools, Provincial Government Spokesperson Khanal said.
