KATHMANDU, March 17: The Bagmati Province Government is going to reward the Nepali cricketers who performed well under the ICC World Cup League-2. The province government has announced that the players will get a cash prize of Rs 100,000 each.
Jagannath Thapalia, spokesperson for the provincial government and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, informed Republica that a decision had been taken to reward those who succeeded in making history in Nepali cricket.

He said that the provincial government is proud of the fact that the cricket players played well and brought the country to the top. With the victory over the UAE, Nepal reached third place on the points table and qualified for the World Cup qualifiers. Among the seven teams participating in the World Cup League-2, the top three teams will qualify for the World Cup qualifiers.
