BAGMATI, August 31: The Bagmati Province has decided to set up four new offices under the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment in order to provide public service in a convenient manner.
Three soil conservation offices under the forest and environment would be established to control landslides and an office under the tourism development project for the development and promotion of the tourism sector.
What is missing in budget for agriculture?
Makwanpur, Ramechhap and Nuwakot will have the soil conservation offices, said Information Officer at the Ministry, Nawaraj Pudasaini, adding that a sub-branch of tourism development projects would be set up in Kathmandu.
Earlier, the provincial government had set up soil conservation offices in Lalitpur and Sindhupalchowk districts. Additional offices were established after the efforts from these two facilities could not dispense adequate works on landslide control.
With the sub branch in Kathmandu, anyone from 13 districts of the province seeking services and project agreement under the tourism development is freed of compulsion to reach Hetauda.
