KATHMANDU, May 31: A meeting of the Bagmati Province Assembly is scheduled for today.

Chief secretary of the Province Assembly Secretariat, Krishnahari Khadka said that the meeting was called at 1 PM.

In that meeting, the policies and programs of the Bagmati Province government for the next fiscal year 2023/24 presented on May 28 will be discussed.

In the meeting held on May 14, Chief Minister Shalikram Jammakattel presented the policies and programs for the coming fiscal year on behalf of the Bagmati province government.

In that meeting, the policies and programs for the coming year were presented by Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma. Chief Minister Jammakattel tabled the policies and programs presented by Chief Minister Sharma in the provincial assembly.

Chief Secretary Khadka said that before the meeting of the Provincial Assembly, there will be a meeting of the Executive Committee at 11 AM. According to him, the executive meeting will prepare the agenda for the provincial assembly.

There are 110 members in the provincial assembly - 37 from Nepali Congress, 27 from CPN-UML, 21 from CPN (Maoist Center), seven from CPN (Unified Socialist) , 13 from RPP, three from Nepal Workers and Peasants Party and two from Hamro Nepali Party.
