KATHMANDU, Feb 20: An eighteen-year-old youth has built a four wheeler.
Bhim Sunar of Baglung has made his self-designed Ocean vehicle public at an interaction organized by Reporters Club Nepal in the Capital on Monday.
Speaking at the progarm held in Bhrikutimandap today, Sunar urged the government to capitalize on his skill and talent.
“I am studying at Grade 12 now. I had made a dozer while in grade 10 during an academic exhibition.
Earlier, I had also created a robot and helicopter. This time, I have built a four wheeler which I have named 'Ocean'.
According to Sunar, the vehicle has been made at the cost of Rs 80,000. “I would make a better one if I got a financial assistance of over Rs 300, 000,” he added.
Due to the lack of budget Sunar has installed a motorbike engine in the vehicle while he himself has made the steering of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, Sunar lamented that the state has ignored the talent and skill of the youths which, according to him, is necessary for the prosperity of the country.
He said he will concentrate on inventing crop cutting machines in the future.
