KATHMANDU, Dec 14: Chitwan Tigers defeated Biratnagar Warriors by five runs in the Everest Premier League at TU International Stadium to register their first win.
Chitwan Tigers, which batted first scored 196 runs at the loss of four wickets. JA Simpsons scored 78 runs, the highest from the team as he hit five sixes and six fours. Likewise, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Sunar scored 32 and 30 runs respectively.
Paras Khadka, Basanta Regmi, Karan KC and PA van Meekeren took a wicket each for Biratnagar Warriors.

In response, Biratnagar Warriors scored 191 runs at the loss of eight wickets. Babar Hayat helped the team to chase the total with his explosive batting.
