NEW YORK, Nov 17: Singers Avril Lavigne and Ryan Cabrera fuelled dating rumours after they were spotted at a romantic date here.

The two singers, who have known each other for 12 years, were spotted "snuggling up" at a restaurant, reports eonline.com.

An insider said: "Avril was extremely affectionate to Ryan, giving him cute hugs in the booth and kisses. They seemed in love.

"They were drinking white wine. It seemed like they were just enjoying the night not getting out of hand or anything. It was very laid back evening. They had appetizers and dinner. Some plates included Fluke and Halibut."

The source added: "A bit later in the evening. a man and woman joined them at the booth, and then another man came down to say hi to them. They were really friendly to everyone. Ryan was very bubbly and sweet to all the wait staff."

Last year, Lavigne was reportedly spending a lot of time together with Cabrera because she had offered him a room in her home to stay following his split from Katie Krause.

The 32-year-old songstress was previously married to Deryck Whibley from 2006 until 2010. In 2013, she married Chad Kroeger, but they separated in 2015.
