Avatar star Zoe Saldana (USA) is certainly on a winning streak with her movies.The release of long-awaited sequel Avatar 2: The Way of Water, has officially earned her a Guinness World Records title. Zoe, 44, has secured the record for most films to surpass 2 billion US dollars at the global box office by an actress, according to the report of Guinness World Records.
Impressively, four of her movies have been popular enough with cinemagoers to pull in the whopping amount of cash.
They are Avatar (2009), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and the Avatar sequel released this year.
That means she’s been in four of the six movies to ever surpass $2 billion at the box office – with the others being Titanic (1997) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

Zoe plays Neytiri in the Avatar franchise, directed by James Cameron, which began with the story of a paraplegic Marine whose mission to the moon Pandora is jeopardised when he falls in love.
Avatar has numerous many record titles to its name, including largest production budget for a movie ($425,000,000), highest grossing action film at the global box office, highest grossing science fiction movie, and first 3D movie to win Best Cinematography Oscar.
Her Avengers character Gamora first appeared on screen in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Marvel character appeared again in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017) and the two multi-billion-earning Avengers flicks.
And there’s no sign of her career slowing down with her IMDb page stating she currently has nine upcoming acting credits.
Despite making fans wait 14 years for another Avatar outing, it seems director Cameron has big plans for the franchise, with third, fourth and fifth films in the works.
All those sequels are listed among Zoe’s upcoming films, as well as an exciting return for Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 later this year.
Her character was famously killed off in Infinity War, leaving love interest Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) heartbroken.
