Authorities seal three pharmacies in Pakhribas

DHANKUTA, Jan 28: Three pharmacies including one health clinic were sealed in Pakhribas Municipality during a surprise raid. 

The District Monitoring Committee, Dhankuta led by Assistant Chief District Officer on Friday sealed the illegally running pharmacies at Pakhribas Municipality – 4. 

The polyclinic was sealed as it had been operating under a false advert for the availability of specialist doctors and for carrying out video x-rays and running laboratories without permission, Assistant CDO, Som Prasad Bhattarai said. 

The team also sealed two veterinary pharmacies for not acquiring due permission and for selling medicines and fertilizers through an unqualified person. RSS
