KATHMANDU, July 1: Lawmakers from the ruling and main opposition parties have strongly objected to the proposed bill on Safe and Peaceful use of Nuclear and Radioactive Materials that will pave the way for establishing nuclear plants in Nepal if it is endorsed from the Parliament.
KATHMANDU, June 26: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has summoned 86 persons including families of those allegedly involved in transferring ownership of government land at Baluwatar to individuals.
RUKUM, June 25: Four members of the Biplav-led group have been arrested from different places of the district. According to DSP Sumit Khadka of the district police office, they were arrested while demanding money from the locals.
