TANAHUN, April 11: Poultry entrepreneurs of Tanahun district are facing a crisis due to the lockdown enforced by the government to minimize the spread of COVID-19. According to poultry farmers, lack of grains for the poultry sector has affected production and the lockdown has affected sales of poultry products. Most of the farmers in the district have sold their chickens bearing huge losses.

A leopard pounced on Sanskriti Neupane, the 21-month-old daughter of a local of Shuklagandaki Municipality – 3 on Monday evening hurting her on her legs, stomach and other parts.

Raju Nepal's toddler son Rabin was playing at the patio of his house when he came under the leopard's brutal attack on Sunday. His dead body was found one kilometer away, near a jungle on Monday.

TANAHU, June 20: A cyclist Kamal BK, 21, of Dulegauda lost his life in an accident at Gachhepani on Sunday morning last week. The same day, Hum Bahadur Sapkota, 66, of Raipur died on the spot in another accident a few kilometers away from Gachhepani in the evening.
