BHAIRAHAWA, Nov 18: The work of Rohini Irrigation Project, which is under construction at Rohini River lying between Devdaha Municipality-2 and Tilottama Municipality- 10 in Rupandehi district, is not picking up the expected pace.

But with the expansion of flower farms in the district in the recent years, flower import from India has decreased. Even for the upcoming Tihar festival, when flowers are needed in large quantities, the district seems to be self-dependent.
