DHADING, July 2: Vehicular movement had been halted after lanslides obstructed the Narayangadh Mugling road section at two different places. The road along Ward 10 and 7 of Majhimtar and Krishnabheer of Benighat Rorang rural municipality have been obstructed.

Rain was still falling heavily and the words were not very audible. Rain had started falling in the village since early evening and kept falling insistently when Gurung went to bed around 10 pm.

DHADING, June 21: Shortage of drinking water used to be a perennial problem for the locals of Nilkantha Municipality ward no 5, Pateni in Dhadhing district. In fact, they had been battling with this problem since years.
DHADING, June 19: Some female students at a local school of Dhading start collapsing as soon as they enter their classes. After completely collapsing on the floor, they start screaming, shivering and laughing hysterically. They also repeatedly murmur 'save me', among other mysterious symptoms.
DHADING, June 9: The driver along with one of his two accompanies are missing after their truck veered 90 meters off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River at Jogimara-Tikrangkhani of Benighat Rorang rural municipality, Dhading.
DHADING, June 7: Khomaya Tamang’s home in Gangajamuna Rural Municipality of Dhading district was destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. Along with the damage to her house, she also had her right arm fractured. She lay injured in a field for four days until a rescue helicopter arrived and carried her to the District Hospital in Dhandingbesi.
DHADING, May 29: Narshingh Tamang of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality-2 has grown cardamom saplings all over his fields. In fact, this has been a reliable source of income for his family. According to Tamang, the farming of this cash crop requires sloppy and humid land.
DHADING, May 22: Pemba Tamang was recently seen heading uphill carrying a heavy load of corrugated sheets on his back. Pemba, a local of Khaniyabas Rural Municipality in Dhading district, has been transporting construction materials to his home since the past few days.
DHADING, May 21: Roaring Trishuli River has sent shivers down his spine several times while crossing the river. Many a times, he even had nightmares in which he trips off the tuin (a makeshift cable crossing) and drowns in the river. Despite such fears, there was no option other than to use the tuin to cross the river for Ram Sharan Sedhai and his fellow villagers of the Siddhalek village.
