DHADING, Dec 5 :It would take months for Kanchha Praja a Gajuri based farmer to plough his fields until four years ago. From early morning to dusk, he had to plough the fields with his oxen. However, that changed one day when he received tractor that was small but very powerful and efficient. It changed the way Praja used to work on his farms. “Farming has become way easier due to the machine,” he shared.
DHADING, Dec 3: With second phase elections taking place in another four days, traffic police has toughened vehicle security check in highways. The move comes after two Indians heading to Kathmandu were arrested from Khanikhola, Dhading with explosive devices.
DHADING Nov 27: Helicopter is being used to transport ballot boxes from remote areas to the district headquarter, Dhading Besi. A chopper was used to bring 51 ballot boxes from 20 rural municipalities of eastern Dhading, chief district officer Shyam Prasad Bhandari said adding that the chopper was used in areas marked highly sensitive.
DHADING, Nov 27: Two persons have died in a motorcycle accident that occurred at Salyantar, Daunne of Tripurasundari rural municipality-1, Dhading on early Monday. The motorcycle, Ba 79 Pa 7272, was heading to Aarughat from Salyantar.
DHADING, Nov 23: Nepal Army’s bomb disposal squad diffused a pressure cooker bomb from Thakre rural municipality-1 of Dhading. Locals had informed the police after a suspicious object, wrapped inside a plastic bag was found on the road side. As bombs have been frequently found in Dhading, residents are fearful. The District Police Office, Dhading has deployed heavy security presence on highway.
DHADING, Nov 22: With very little time left for the parliamentary and provincial polls, the voters in rural parts of Dhading are still unaware of the voting process. Locals in northern parts of the district are deprived of voter education, raising concerns over the number of invalid votes.
