KATHMANDU, August 24: Budhha Air has announced to recommence a daily flight service from Pokhara to Bharatpur from September 15 after a gap of several years. Talking to Republica, Binita Thapa, marketing manager of Buddha Air, informed that they have started daily flights between the two tourist cities considering the flow of tourists. These flights will benefit the passengers who have no option other than making a cumbersome journey via Narayanghat-Mugling road section, which is in bad condition due to road expansion.

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Flights to Biratnagar and Bhadrapur in the eastern Nepal from Kathmandu were halted Saturday due to heavy rainfall since the past few days. Incessant rains have completely inundated the airport of Biratnagar while there were no flights to Bhadrapur due to poor weather.

KATHMANDU, July 28: After facing many ups and downs in the past couple of years, foreign tourist arrivals recorded a healthy growth of 28 percent in the first half of 2017.
According to the Department of Immigration, Nepal welcomed a total of 460,304 foreign tourists via air in the first six months of 2017, compared to 359,672 in the first half of 2016.
KATHMANDU, July 18: Former chair of Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) Dhermendra Jha had to struggle to get a ticket from Nepal Airlines (NA) to fly from Dhangadi to Kathmandu on July 7. He felt relieved when he got a ticket with support from a friend as NA officials told him that all seats were already booked.
