While praising the Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Bill, parliamentarians have urged the government to ensure that women from rural parts of the country, who work throughout the year to make ends meet, are also addressed.

Fifty seven injured as overcrowded bus veers off road

 

 An overcrowded bus veered 50 meters off the road injuring 57 passengers on board at Bidur municipality-9, Nuwakot. Of those injured, eight are critical. The passenger bus, (Ba 2 Kha 2804) was en route to Trishuli from Bumgthang when it collided with a truck. Of those injured, 17 are female passengers.

The Consumer Protection Bill, 2018 has been tabled in the parliament on Wednesday.Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Yadav presented the Bill for deliberations in the parliament.
