KATHMANDU, June 22: Auditor General Bhanu Prasad Acharya has tendered his resignation to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Acharya called on President Bhandari at the President Office, Sheetal Niwas today and submitted resignation from his post in writing to the President in accordance with Article 240, Clause 4(A) of the constitution and to be effective from today itself.

In the meeting, President Bhandari thanked Acharya for the work he carried out remaining in the post of the Auditor General, according to a communique issued by the Assistant Spokesman of the Office of the President, Dhruba Raj Acahrya. RSS
