KATHMANDU, Nov 17: At least 20 people were injured when a passenger bus en route to Dang from Kathmandu met with an accident at Bhaluhi, Devdah Municipality Ward No. 8 of Rupandehi. Two of the injured are in serious condition and five are in moderate condition.
The bus (Ba.Pra.03-001) was overturned about 3-4 meters below the road around 12:00 last night. DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatta said that out of 38 passengers on the bus, 20 people were injured.

The injured are being treated at Devdaha Medical College. After receiving information about the accident, a team of 10 police personnel led by Inspector Doctor Prasad Chaudhary and a team of seven police personnel led by Inspector Mahesh Pathak from the Ward Police Office, Butwal were deployed for the rescue.
Bus driver Pradeep Pariyar of Pyuthan, Jhimruk has been arrested by the police.
