KATHMANDU, Nov 1: A shipment of AstraZeneca vaccines against COVID-19 has arrived in Nepal from the Maldives. Nepal received 201,600 doses of vaccines last night from the Maldives under the COVAX facility.
According to the Child Health and Immunisation Section, Family Welfare Division, the Department of Health Services, the vaccines have been stored at Teku.
A total of 8 million 668 thousand 592 people have received the first dose of vaccine, while 7 million 189 thousand 689 have received both doses of the vaccine so far in Nepal.
