Aspiring models sell panipuri for a cause

Aspiring models taking part in Republica My City Presents En Vogue Fashion Show on Tuesday made and sold pani puri in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley for a charitable cause. The event was named ‘Eat to Feed - Pani-Puri for a cause’.



The participants were divided into six groups and dispersed in Mangal Bazaar, Thamel, Maha Bouddha, Bouddha, Labim Mall and Basantapur. The event that started from 11 am lasted till 7 pm. They were raising funds for projects against child labor and women violence, orphanage homes and slum areas. The collected proceeds will be donated to one organization that has a better social cause.



“We have also organized many social events in the past like Walkforth-walk for a cause, and different charity events to help earthquake victims. We want to bring communities together, help individuals and families, promote social justice and foster human and global well being,” the organizers said.



They added that modeling is not just about looking good but it is more about what role you are trying to play in the society. The show is an annual event being organized by the House of Fashion.
