Asian launches Royale Play<br/>Prime opens branch in Jiri

KATHMANDU, July 6: Asian Paints, the largest paint company in Nepal, has introduced a collection of ready-to-use ´special effect´ paints called Royale Play that allow users to unleash their creativity on the walls. Along with these, Asian Paints has also launched specially designed ´application tools´ using which consumers can create different patterns on the walls and give fashionable touches to them. This marks the beginning of a new era in "wall fashion" in Nepal, states a press release issued by Asian Paints on Monday. "The sky is the limit as far as creativity with Royale Play is concerned. Using a bit of imagination, special effect tools and palette of vibrant colors, Asian Paints consumers will now be able to create numerous eye catching special effects that give walls a distinctive look and feel," the release quoted Soumitra Roy, general manager of Asian Paints Nepal, as saying.



Royale Play will be initially available at select Asian Paints outlets in Kathmandu.





Prime opens branch in Jiri



KATHMANDU, July 6: Prime Commercial Bank has opened a new branch in Jiri of Dolakha district. Chairman of the bank Narendra Bajracharya inaugurated the branch amid a function on Monday, says a press release issued by the bank.



The bank has opened eight branches so far. The bank has opened a branch each at New Baneshwar, Balaju and Lagankhel, Dharan and Bharatpur and three branches in Pokhara.



The bank said it would continue to open new branches in a bid to expand its reach and provide modern banking services in different parts of the country. The bank has also expressed commitment to regularly upgrade its system and enhance its services.





Capital Merchant adds branch



KATHMANDU, July 6: The Capital Merchant Banking and Finance Limited has opened its third branch at Rabi Bhawan in Kathmandu. The new branch was inaugurated by chairman and managing director of the company Bigyan Prasad Poudel on Monday.



The company has also installed automated teller machines (ATMs) at Rabi Bhawan and Battisputali and has started offering any branch banking service (ABBS) from these two outlets.



A press release issued by the company on Monday quoting Poudel as saying: “The finance company will soon install ATMs in Pokhara and Butwal branches and offer ABBS from those offices.” The company, with a paid up capital of Rs 373.80 million, has so far collected Rs 1.92 billion in deposits and extended Rs 2.05 billion in loans.
