Russian Center of Science and Culture in collaboration with Nepal Russia Art Club has organized an art exhibition ‘Friendaversary’ at the premises of Russian center of science and culture. The exhibition was inaugurated by Veteran Artist Bijaya Thapa.
The exhibition showcases paintings of more than 20 artists that revolve around social, cultural, natural and political issues. Academician at Nepal Academy of Fine Arts Sushma Rajbhandari informed that the exhibition portrays the condition of contemporary art scenario in Nepal. She added that the main motif of the exhibition is to enhance friendship relation between Nepal and Russia.
One of the participations of the exhibition Dipendra Banepali said, “We artists have tried to portray Nepali art, culture, tradition, and natural diversity in the painting.”
