Arrested Dr KC supporters start hunger strike in lockup

KATHMANDU, July 24: 10 protesters arrested while staging a sit-in outside the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), have started a hunger strike in the lockup from 3 pm on Sunday.

The protesters started the strike at Nepal Police Club to condemn the police act for arresting them from a non-restricted zone.

Meanwhile, hundreds of protesters have staged a sit-in outside Nepal Police Club demanding to release those arrested immediately.
