Aug 10: People might think bubbly pop star Ariana Grande is all sunshine and roses, but she won’t hold with any nonsense either.
That’s what one fan found out on Instagram when they accused her of cheating on ex Mac Miller with now fiancé Pete Davidson. The user had commented the accusation underneath a photo of the track list for Ariana’s new album Sweetener, out this month. ‘Pete Davidson will be the song i will skip all the time,’ they wrote. But when Grande responded with ‘awwwww boo fucking hoo Alexa play Pete Davidson’, the fan clapped back ‘Ari cheated on Mac’.
This was a step too far for the 25-year-old singer, who lashed out: ‘I didn’t but go off. can you like ….go stan someone else?’ Ariana, clearly sick of the accusations, ended by branding the commenter ‘boring’. We’re with you, Ariana. You deserve better from your so-called fans.

Grande and Miller announced in May that they had split up after two and a half years as a couple. They first hung out in March 2013 when collaborating on Big Pun-sampling track The Way, but didn’t go public with their relationship until August 2016. Since the break-up, Ariana’s been blamed by some for the split, but released a statement on Twitter calling their relationship ‘toxic’ and claimed Mac’s ‘inability to keep his shit together’ ultimately ended their relationship.
This latest fan criticism adds insult to injury for Grande, who recently hurt her hand while filming Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. Revealing her wounds in an Instagram Story, Grande commented: ‘but i LOVE my bandage it looks sick @JKCorden i’ll be ok one day’. She continued: ‘that was the best day ever @JKCorden thank you so much to you and your incredible crew and band and writers ! sm fun. can’t wait for y’all to seeeee what we been up to.’
