KATHMANDU, June 29: The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (Fenegosida) has urged the government to make laws related to the gold and silver business.
A delegation from Fenegosida recently in their meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on Industry and Commerce and Labor and Consumer Affairs advanced the claim that there is no clear law on gold and silver business in the country and hence requested the committee to make arrangements in this regard.

The delegation led by Fenegosida President Manikaratna Shakya called on the parliamentarians including the chairman of the committee Bimal Srivastava and urged them to take initiative for the speedy drafting of the law.
During the meeting, the delegation also informed about several issues that need to be addressed by the laws. Entrepreneurs affiliated with this sector have been facing difficulties due to a lack of clear laws related to the operation of the gold and silver business.
