Cholera vaccines dispatched to flood-hit Rasuwa
Earlier, on Sunday, the ministry airlifted 21,000 doses of cholera vaccine to Rasuwa by helicopter. A cholera vaccination campaign is scheduled to begin in the district on Thursday.
The ministry said the vaccination drive is being launched in flood-affected areas as damage to drinking water and sanitation systems has increased the risk of cholera and other waterborne diseases. The campaign aims to prevent the spread of infections and protect vulnerable communities.
