Announcement of ‘Nagarik Nayak’ every year is remarkable: Tejeshwor Babu Gonga

KATHMANDU, April 24: Cultural expert Tejeshwor Babu Gonga said that felicitating personalities who have contributed to the society is commendable. 

He made the remarks while delivering an inaugural speech of the Nagarik Nayak event being held at Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu on Sunday evening. 

Every year,  Nepal Republic Media (NRM) honors exemplary personalities as Nagarik Nayak (Nagarik Heroes) of the year for their selfless and inspiring contribution to  society.

He wished the program all the success and expressed his gratitude for extending invitation to the event. “ I hope Nepal Republic Media will continue to do so even in the years to come,” he added.
