ANNISU-R torch campus chief's chair

KATHMANDU, May 24: The Maoist affiliated ANNISU-R students burnt the chair of campus chief of Ratna Rajya Campus in Kathmandu on Monday to protest the fee hike by Tribhuvan University.



The Maoist students said the campus has been charging the hiked fee to students even though the TU had agreed with the union to reduce the fees.



ANNISU-R central member Surendra Basnet said the union will intensify protests if the agreed fee is not immediately implemented.



The students also demanded campus chief´s resignation accusing him of agreeing with the TU to increase fees.
