KATHMANDU, July 21: The meeting of the second working committee of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has been postponed. The meeting held at ANFA headquarters in Lalitpur on Thursday was adjourned without entering a single agenda.
Eighteen different agendas were decided in the second working committee meeting. Although the meeting was supposed to be held at the ANFA headquarters at seven in the morning, the meeting started late. Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka said that the meeting which started late was adjourned without entering the agenda. Earlier, the meeting scheduled for last Monday was postponed after ANFA President Pankaj Vikram Nemwang suddenly fell ill. The second meeting of the new leadership, which was criticized after the first meeting held immediately after the swearing-in after the election, made some important decisions, and has been viewed in a meaningful way.
ANFA meeting postponed again over Three Star issue
Although various agendas have been set for the meeting, it is certain that the discussion will focus on the allocation of various berths in ANFA. Thye meeting is likely to discuss who to appoint to the post of Chief Executive Officer, three Deputy General Secretaries, Spokesperson and various honorary posts of ANFA.
In the election, the then president Karma Chhiring Sherpa and senior vice president Nemwang contested with the entire panel. The General Assembly elected seven candidates from the Sherpa panel, including a vice-president.
