KATHMANDU, Dec 12: ANDRITZ organized its 3rd Customer Day for Hydropower in Kathmandu on Tuesday. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Barsha Man Pun, and Austrian ambassador to Nepal, Brigitte Öppinger-Walchshofer, jointly inaugurated the program.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, ANDRITZ has been a part of Nepal's growth story for decades now. "ANDRITZ contributes 144 MW of operating capacity and currently executes 757 MW of 2,000 MW of under construction projects. Currently, ANDRITZ is implementing the prestigious Upper Tamakoshi project (456 MW), Middle Bhotekoshi project (102 MW) and others projects," the company added in the statement. It is also associated with the Kulekhani project, Middle Marsyangdi project and Chilime project, according to the statement.
