An elderly woman dies of COVID-19 at Patan Hospital

KATHMANDU, July 31: An elderly woman in Lalitpur died of Coronavirus (COVID-19) while undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital on Friday morning, according to the District Health Office, Lalitpur.
The patient was a 65-year old female from Thasikhel, Lalitpur. She was undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.She was admitted to Patan Hospital on July 21 after she was tested positive for the COVID-19After testing positive for COVID-19 at Star Hospital.
She had recently arrived in Lalitpur from Birgunj.
