Amitabh Bachchan turns 80 today
KATHMANDU,
Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 80th birthday today.
According to the reports of Indian media, many birthday wishes have been spreading in the social media to wish the Bollywood actor from his fans to celebrities including Tina Ambani, Karan Johar, Ajay Devgan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to a report by India TV, some fans of Bacchan have posted rare photos of him while others have shared poems written by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan as well as posted posters of his films.
Moreover, on the occasion of his birthday, his wife Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan is said to join him on special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14.
Bachchan rose to fame in the early 1970s for his roles in films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay. He has also been honoure3d with Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
