Amid rising coronavirus cases, night curfew imposed from 10PM to 5AM in Indian capital New Delhi

KATHMANDU, April 6: In view of the rising coronavirus cases, the Delhi government has imposed night curfew from 10PM to 5AM with immediate effect, Indian media reports said on Tuesday.

India reported 96,982 new coronavirus infections overnight, taking the overall tally of cases to 12.7 million, data from India's Ministry of Home Affairs said.

The southern neighbor reported 446 deaths, taking the total to 165,547, data showed. India’s caseload is the third-highest globally behind the United States and Brazi, media reports said.
