KATHMANDU, Jan 27: The American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal), the umbrella organization of American-invested businesses in Nepal, recently concluded the 6th Member Learning Series program at its member organization, Deerhold Nepal.
Rudra Raj Pandey, the founder of the company, discussed how the Deerwalk and Deerhold companies in Nepal are engaged in various sectors including software development, educational institution management, corporate and IT training, auto service, and tourism.
During the event, Pandey shared insights on leadership development and the company's journey. Speakers including Sachin Karanjit, who spoke about the operations of Deerhold in Nepal; Bijay Shrestha, discussing Deerwalk School and College; and Yagya Lamsal, on Deerwalk Compware, joined him.

The program was facilitated by Amir Raj Thapa, head of the AmCham Secretariat.
Members of AmCham Nepal visited the Deerhold and Deerwalk Group premises in Siphal, Kathmandu, as a part of the learning series aimed at fostering mutual understanding among its members.
Nirmal Kaji Shrestha, President of AmCham Nepal, expressed that the program was designed to strengthen camaraderie among members and enhance their understanding of each other's businesses.
Participants toured the Sifal School, Deerwalk College, and Deerwalk Compware, all under the Deerhold and Deerwalk Group umbrella.
The event saw a turnout of 40 participants, including Ajit Shah, the outgoing chairman of AmCham Nepal's board, member Samarth Mogha, and Darin Christensen, an economic and commercial expert and economic/commercial officer at the American Embassy.
AmCham Nepal, officially recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce, comprises over 40 diverse American businesses and companies operating in Nepal. The organization aims to boost trade and investment between Nepal and the United States, focusing on foreign direct investment (FDI) in sectors such as tourism, information technology, and energy, as per AmCham Nepal.
