KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Ambassador of Nepal to the Republic of Austria, Prakash Kumar Suvedi, presented his Letters of Credence to Dr Alexander Van der Ballen, the Federal President of Austria, amidst an official ceremony held at the President's Office, Hofburg Palace in Vienna, on Monday.
At the commencement of the ceremony, President Van der Ballen extended his warm welcome and congratulated Ambassador Suvedi for the commencement of his tenure in Austria. The President also felicitated the Government and people of Nepal for the successful completion of the election and extended his greetings to President Bidya Devi Bhandari, the Embassy of Nepal in Vienna stated in a press release today.

At the ceremony Ambassador Suvedi conveyed greetings and good wishes on behalf of the President Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to the Austrian President. Ambassador also expressed his hope and confidence in further strengthening the relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Mr Amber Bashadur Karki, Deputy-Chief of the Mission and other diplomatic staff of the Mission were also present during the ceremony. RSS
